Why do all nations use western instruments in their national anthems?
Why do all nations use western instruments in their national anthems regardless of their geography? Why don't they use their own traditional instruments?|||All western instruments are the more frequent and updated instruments of all eastern instruments. The instruments currently in America are mere advanced forms of the original instruments made in other countries, so naturally they are free to use it. Besides the anthem is a recent installment to the nations, having a traditional instrumental anthem may cause displeasure to those who are not in the "traditional age."|||I'd probably dispute that. There's no guideline on what instruments are used and its not like the instruments used in the US or UK anthems are American or English. A lot of Eastern anthems are written on traditional instruments but end up being played on European stuff because of the orchestra that's available. Besides, you can't have heard every national anthem of the world to base that question on ;)
