What is the “name” of Jesus on account of which Christians are hated by all nations?

Matthew 10:22 (HCSB), You will be hated by everyone because of My name. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

Thank you.|||Jesus, The Savior. When Jesus says "my name" it is a reference to who he is and what he is and what he stands for. This that Jesus spoke of was to his followers, the Christians who were to inform people of Jesus. The christians who spread the word were hunted and imprisoned, fed to the lions as well as others. This was told to us by one of the Christian hunters named Saul who later on became a Christian and changed his name to Paul. It is said that spreading of the faith in some countries is still considered a crime and is punishable even today.|||Matt 10;22 applies to Christians and their belief in Jesus Christ.





The only people claiming that this scripture applies to Yahweh deity of Jewish theology are in support of Arianism. I'm sure they disbelieve Jesus is God.





This scripture in no way applies to `Yahweh` considering that the Greek Bible never once used the name of God. Instead it used Kyrios.|||Sometime to understand what Jesus was saying you have to pay attention to who he was speaking to. I think here he was talking to his disciples. The nations were the governing bodies of the time. He was the King of the Jews, so the Jewish priests hated anyone who testified to His name because He kinda knocked them off there pedastal. And no king of any nation was about to bow and worship a humble man even though He was the son of God. His name-Jesua-I'm pretty sure means "God with us".|||Jehovah since Jesus is also Jehovah........
